Terms of Use

Welcome to Quilt Preview. By making an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. What Quilt Preview does

Quilt Preview uses AI to create a picture of how a quilt might look using photos you upload of a pattern and your fabrics. Previews are for personal planning and inspiration. They're an artist's impression — colors, sizes, and block details may not be exact, so always follow your actual pattern when cutting and piecing.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old to use Quilt Preview.
• Keep your password private. You're responsible for activity on your account.
• Give accurate information when you sign up.

3. Your photos and patterns

• Only upload photos you took yourself or have the right to use, such as patterns you own and fabric from your stash.
• Pattern designers own the copyright to their patterns, instructions, and cover art. Quilt Preview is for previewing patterns you own for your own personal use. Don't use it to copy, resell, or share someone else's pattern.
• You keep ownership of everything you upload. You give us permission to store and process your photos only to create, save, and show your previews to you.
• Your photos and previews are private to your account. We don't share them publicly or sell them.

4. Your previews

You may use your previews for personal planning, and share them with friends, your guild, or your quilt shop. If a preview is based on someone else's pattern, please credit the designer when you share it. Don't sell previews or finished quilts in a way that breaks a pattern designer's terms.

5. Things you can't do

• Upload content that's illegal, hateful, explicit, or that you don't have the right to use.
• Try to break, overload, copy, or reverse-engineer the app.
• Share your account or resell access.
• Use automated tools to generate previews in bulk.

6. AI limitations

AI can make mistakes. We don't promise that any preview will be accurate, match your fabric exactly, or be free of errors. Quilt Preview is provided "as is."

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Quilt Preview and its team aren't responsible for indirect or accidental losses — like fabric purchases or cutting decisions — based on a preview.

8. Membership, payments, and refunds

• Every account gets 3 free previews. After that, you can buy a preview bundle: 25 previews for $25, 50 previews for $45, or 100 previews for $80.
• Bundles are a one-time purchase. Nothing renews automatically, and bundle previews never expire.
• Existing memberships continue under the terms they were bought with until they are canceled or end.
• When a new customer joins through a valid referral link, they receive $10 off their first bundle. After that first payment succeeds, the person who shared the link receives 10 extra previews, valid for 12 months.
• Referral rewards have no set limit, but self-referrals, duplicate accounts, canceled or refunded payments, and other misuse are not eligible. We may withhold or remove rewards connected to misuse.
• Refunds: If you're not happy, email us within 14 days of a charge and we'll refund it as long as you haven't used any of the previews from that charge. After 14 days, or once previews from that charge have been used, payments aren't refundable, except where the law requires otherwise.
• If a preview fails to generate, it doesn't count against your previews.
• Payments are processed securely by our payment partner, Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

9. Ending your account

You can stop using Quilt Preview and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

10. Changes

We may update these terms as the app grows. If we make important changes, we'll let you know in the app or by email. Continuing to use the app means you accept the updated terms.
